新买了个博通的网卡给我之前100收的x120e(但是e10主板)换上，网卡驱动设置多了个Xpress，不知道是做什么的，镇内互联网也没有啥有价值的信息，废了点力气在镇外找到了，记下来备忘。但总的来说也是个已经被淘汰的技术了。

XPress介绍：

Broadcom的Xpress技术是较早的性能增强型WiFi技术之一，旨在提高无线网络效率和吞吐量。它在混合环境中效率更高，并且可以与802.11a标准/b/g网络。

当Xpress打开时，聚合吞吐量（个人的总和吞吐量网络上每个客户端的速度）可以通过以下方式提高高达在802.11g-only网络中为27%，以及高达75%的混合网络包括802.11g标准和802.11b标准标准设备。

技术达到更高吞吐量通过重新打包数据，减少开销控制包的数量，以便在给定的时间内发送更多有用的数据。

不建议在较新的网络环境中使用Xpress(802.11n标准/ac）和游戏，因为任何数据的重新打包都会带来一些延迟。

The technology achieves higherthroughputby by re-packaging data, reducing the number of overhead control packets, so that more useful data can be sent during a given amount of time.
